The body of the guitar has been refinished well and is shows signs of play wear - the neck has been oversprayed and is starting to check nicely. The body is dated may \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan class=\"il\"\u003e1957\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e (photographed) and the pencil neck date has been removed from the base of the neck with a previous dealer surmising that this would have happened when the neck was oversprayed. The bridge and saddles are from a later telecaster (late 50s\/60s) with one height screw being replaced. The pickups are original to the guitar. The guitar has had a refret and new nut being fitted, with the frets showing 90% of life remaining.
