Condition Report:

This guitar is presented in very good condition for its age. The neck is stamped December 1963. The guitar was modified in 1972 by luthier John Birch, who refinished the guitar, replaced the fretboard, frets, bridge saddles, pickups and pick up selector (5 way fitted). The guitar was refinished in 1972 in what we believe to be an attempt at olympic white, however the hue differs slightly.  At the time, Birch would also remove the headstock decal and replace it with a hand painted logo of his own, this has since been reversed, however the decal is non original. The pot codes have been obscured by solder, however the pots match the 'dished' CTS pots of the era. The original pickups have also been replaced with an unidentifiable set. The frets show approximately 80% of life remaining and all electronics function as expected.
