This guitar maintains an almost all-original condition with the addition of a long Vibrola tailpiece which is of the same era and believed to have been fitted not long after the guitar left the Gibson factory.
With regards to the condition and originality of this guitar, the original parts are as follows:

Unfortunately whilst the guitar retains the original Stopbar studs, the original Stopbar is missing. At some point in the lifetime of the guitar, varnish has been applied to the body and the back of the neck, making the appearance of the Cherry finish darker in places. The original Cherry finish remains intact and the guitar has never been re-finished. Other notable changes include a missing ‘Volume’ reflector from the top of the control knob, and two pickup surround screws that have been replaced. The original Gibson hard case is included in the sale, however is in poor condition with a small crack to the rear of the case - all case latches still function as they should.
The guitar is set up and ready to rock with great intonation and has no breaks or structural repairs. The weight of this guitar is 9 lbs 2 oz.

All guitars shipped to a UK address will be dispatched via a next-day tracked courier service on the next available working day.
For international orders, shipping rates and delivery times will be calculated during checkout.

At Fat Bottom Guitars, we fully inspect, test, and appropriately list each guitar for sale with as much detail as possible. It is the buyer's responsibility to read through the listing description or contact us for details on the condition of a guitar prior to purchase.
We offer a 14-day returns policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return should your item not be as described. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it and in its original packaging.
To start a return, you can contact us at info@fatbottomguitars.co.uk. If you're returning a guitar that has been damaged in transit, we ask that you notify us within 48 hours of the guitar being delivered. In this case, we will cover return shipping costs. If you're returning a guitar that you believe was not as described, we ask that you notify us within 48 hours of the guitar being delivered. In this case, the customer is responsible for covering return shipping costs.
When returning a guitar to us, please make sure it is securely packaged in the same packaging that was used previously. It is the buyer's responsibility to return guitars safely and for them to be received in identical condition. Charges may be applied to compensate for any further damage occurring from return transit.
Once we've received the returned guitar, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method. It may take up to 7 working days for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.
