Condition Report:
The guitar has been enjoyed throughout its life so far and is in good condition overall. The Nitrocellulose finish has started to check nicely with age, very similar to the techniques that the Gibson Custom Shop tries to replicate on new guitars. There are a few dinks/marks/scratches which we've tried to show in the photographs but can be hard to see unless under close inspection. The guitar suffered from a couple of hairline cracks around the bottom of the headstock which is a weak point on most Gibson guitars. These cracks were very minor and the guitar has not suffered any headstock breaks. These hairline cracks were professionally repaired and the back of the headstock was re-sprayed in Nitrocellulose lacquer (please see pictures for reference). After 19 years of enjoyment, the frets needed replacing - all frets have now been replaced along with a new Tusq nut, bridge saddle, and bridge pins. She now sings just like she should! A receipt is also included for the work completed.

At Fat Bottom Guitars, we fully inspect, test, and appropriately list each guitar for sale with as much detail as possible. It is the buyer's responsibility to read through the listing description or contact us for details on the condition of a guitar prior to purchase.
We offer a 14-day returns policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return should your item not be as described. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it and in its original packaging.
To start a return, you can contact us at info@fatbottomguitars.co.uk. If you're returning a guitar that has been damaged in transit, we ask that you notify us within 48 hours of the guitar being delivered. In this case, we will cover return shipping costs. If you're returning a guitar that you believe was not as described, we ask that you notify us within 48 hours of the guitar being delivered. In this case, the customer is responsible for covering return shipping costs.
When returning a guitar to us, please make sure it is securely packaged in the same packaging that was used previously. It is the buyer's responsibility to return guitars safely and for them to be received in identical condition. Charges may be applied to compensate for any further damage occurring from return transit.
Once we've received the returned guitar, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method. It may take up to 7 working days for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.
