Jim Cairnes Colt Peacemaker
Specification & Condition Report
Jim Cairnes launched his career in the 1970s, crafting visually striking guitars inspired by the Colt 45 gun. He operated a factory alongside Brian Goodhall on Cumberland Road in Middlesbrough, where they produced these unique instruments. With less than 10 examples believed to be produced by Jim, this is a rare find!
Condition Report:
The guitar is presented in very good condition throughout, with some small marks and scratches to the body, mainly on the rear. Their is also a small dink to the corner of the headstock. This example was used sparingly throughout the '70s, and the original frets reflect this, showing roughly 80% of life remaining. The original electronics all function as they should, and the guitar weighs 7lbs 7oz.
